Theatre. Deb and i went to see Priscilla queen of the desert at the Milton Keynes theatre.
Customer services. Throughout the year we had a lot of hassle with various Customer Services, particularly Sky which took about 20 phone calls and 5 BT engineer call outs to fix the broadband (fault on the broadband line, but constantly checked the phone line), and C&G who, following our mortgage shortfall would only give us a massive mortgage so, after many phone calls got a simple loan, they also erroneously referred us to debt collectors which took 5 calls to sort out.
Basketball. Han's u14 basketball team finished joint 2nd but just missed out on the play offs on points difference. Titans had an end of year day. Hannah was a manager of one of the junior teams in their mini tournament which Alex played in. Hannah also got mvp for her team. Alex also started training.
Alex Birthday. For Alex's birthday we went to Wellingborough fair and then to Pizza Hut. Alex was glued to a few stuffed toys this year who went everywhere with her 'Biscuit' and 'Creamy Jnr'.
The Flying Scotsman came to Wellingborough and I got up early and watched it at the back of Weatherbys.
Alex Swimming. Alex starts swimming lessons again and quickly passes 3 levels before we go on holiday.
We get a new big fridge.
Hannah has a very bad period, she looses a lot of blood and passes out, we have to get an ambulance and she is rushed to hospital, where she stays for 2 nights.
Disney. We had a huge summer holiday at Disney World, a lot of preparation, big journey, very tiring but lots of fun. It was very, very exciting for Alex.
New Doors. We got new doors (front, back and garage). This also forced us to clear out the garage, a very big job.
Days out. During the summer holidays Hannah and Kathryn go to Alton towers (Alex also goes with her dad). We go to the new Bounce trampoline park in Northampton with Kathryn, great fun, I get a bit stuck on the high jump. We then have a Harvester meal.
County and Regional basketball. Hannah gets into first the Northants basketball team and then the East Midlands team. The Regional tournament is in Manchester. Hannah does well in the first game but is then dropped, the coach messes up and despite coming joint second they miss out on the top tier on points difference.
Auntie Pauline. Deb and Alex go and visit auntie Pauline and stay over.
Hannah's birthday. We go ice skating in Milton Keynes and then Nandos. She gets a new fish tank.
Andrew breaks nose when accidentally kicked by Alex swimming.
Auntie Mab and auntie Lil die.
Hannah Basketball. At the start of the new basketball season Hannah injures her hand and then leg. They have an u16 cup game in London which they win in double overtime (we have a very bad drive down). There is also a long weekend to Leeds and Barrow. The u16 finish joint 2nd in their premier division and qualify in the top 8 for the full premier league in the 2nd half of the season.
London Shopping trip. We go on the Weatherbys London Christmas shopping trip. A couch trip down. Shopping on Oxford street then see Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.
Car puncture. My car gets a puncture, we just manage to make it to the garage and get 4 new tires.
Deb's Job. Deb gets a new Job at Bedford college, starting February.
Christmas. I have the week before Christmas off, although we all have bad colds. Christmas is good. Dinner very good, great gravy from turkey juice. Presents include iPhone, watch, hatchimol, bag. Play chicken charades and watch secret life of pets. James comes round Boxing Day, do quiz including guess the fruit.
