Collecting Tolkien - Art

This is a very specialist area.

It is also very diverse, covering anything from original professional one off items to mass produced prints.  It can also include one off, non commercial, amateur items. In fact a lot of things could be treated as art e.g. framed trading cards, signed pictures etc.

At the high end, original art by professional artists is extremely expensive and rare. 

I am not including ornaments or statues here as these are covered in their own area.

I don't really collect Tolkien art and don't have much.

Movie plastic curved 'baddies' display - this is not a specifically produced piece of art but it could be treated as such, in fact I don't know what it is (I think it is from a pinball machine)
